With the explosion of new medications and treatments, a separate part of our practice, Matrix Research, LLC, was established.  This allows us to participate in clinical trials for medications going through the approval process by the FDA.  These trials are open to our patients, and we will have information posted in our office as to what trials we are currently participating in.  The benefits include having the latest in treatments and medications before they are made available to the general public.  These trials are run by the pharmaceutical companies under strict medical and ethical controls and are or no cost to our patients.  If you feel that you may be a candidate, please discuss this with the physician or ask to speak to the Research Coordinator.
